Chuunin exam Team 2: Test 1 - Question 5

Nadeshiko had reached the fifth and last question of the first test. She looked at the sheet in front of her, almost filled already with her neat handwriting and read the remaining question silently. Thoughts came to her easily. The set-up mentioned in the question remembered her of her own team so she starte imagining how they'd solve this situation when on a mission...

“Okay. This is a tough opponent that we are going to face. We have to stay focused ans work together if we want to win this confrontation..” Kaminari started her explanation. It was late autumn now and the days were getting shorter. The sun started to set already and the air chilled down slowly. The brightly yellow and red colored leaves above their heads rustled, almost drowning the sound of their muted voices as they talked about their plan.
A strand of curly hair, of the same dark red as the leaves of the maple tree right next to her, had fallen into Kaminari's pale face but was ignored as she met the glances of her teammates. Yume, the scarred illusionist from Hidden Cliff. Nadeshiko with her seal scrolls and the flowers. Yoko who had her katana at her side, ready to use it at a moment's notice. And herself, the strategist.

“Yume. Do you think you can incapacitate him?” Her head turned slightly toward the only male of the team who nodded calmly as a response and earned smiles from his teammates. “Stay cautious please.” Nadeshiko reminded him smiling but her voice sounded worried. “It would give us a huge advantage but avoid getting into danger.” Yoko nudged her and grinned cheeringly so Nadeshiko had to smile too. “I'm sorry. I sure didn't want to express that you were careless.”
She was the next one focused by Kaminari and straightened a bit unconsciously. Not that it'd change the fact that Nadeshiko was the smallest team member by far... She'd given up to try appearing taller than she was. “You and I are going to attack him after Yume hit with his genjutsu. Use your earth jutsu and hon't hold back - he is an enemy that will try to kill us if we give him a chance.” She sounded calm and so very serious, mature and confident even when facing such the possibility of being killed of they proved unable to defeat their enemy.“We have to deal severe damage to him. Maybe maim him. Stay calm and do what's necessary.”
No-one of them was happy about this. It wouldn't be one of those fight that you liked to remember to tell friends and family about or just because you were proud of the achievement. The mood was tense even though they were smiling and behaving friendly. Nadeshiko's left hand trembled slightly, Yoko held her katana tightly and Yume played with strands of his long hair, twisting them around his index finger... You just had to look closely and discovered that they were nervous but, and that mattered, they knew their duty.
Yoko was the last one to address. Kaminari cleared her throat, then spoke up again.“When we're done, it's your time.” The faces turned towards the oldest teammate that now lifted her katana slightly off the ground. “We have to act fast and effective but it still might be possible that he tries to defend himself and engages in a fight with you. Needless to mention, but aim for the vital spots.”
“Quick and clean.” Yoko agreed and allowed herself a little grin.

Also, I want to say that I'm sorry for any inaccuraties and untypical behaviour in the written part. I tried to stay close to the facts I know but there might be mistakes. Anyway... It's just Nadeshiko's imagination. Maybe she's got a wrong idea of one of her teammates? xD
And, last point, I also tried to colour this with water colours... As expected, I messed it up but I'd like to share the result anway: [link] I like the trees xD
